Start with a grey-scale backdrop, like grey paint and a darker tone grey couch, and accessorize with the colored accessories. Accessories can be anything from throw-pillows, to pictures, plants, vases and sculptures, lighting fixtures, books, carpet and event mirrors and paintings. You can pick an accent chair as well, in the grey-scale, patterned fabric, or be a bit more daring and bold by picking a Fuchsia or green accent chair to bring out the entire characteristics of the room. Remember that the neutral color is the main backdrop, which in this case is grey, so pick different shades of it and only accessorize it with the vibrant colors to keep it classy, well-thought and unique.
