There used to be a time when cages were only used in order
to keep animals, mostly birds, trapped so we could enjoy having the sight and
sound of them close by at the comfort of our house. That however has changed
over the years and we’ve found another use for them. We now see cages being
used as a decorative object in many homes. The idea is basically the same; it’s
just that instead of the bird many use decorative birds, lights, candles,
flowers or anything that’s nice to look at.
Cages come in many different shapes and sizes like vintage,
modern, tall, small and much more. Candles and flowers are a favorite as they
are the perfect contrast to the idea of a cage.
*Tip: A nice idea is to have some potpourri in cage. It’s
very colorful and beautiful and keeps your place smell nice as well.
*Tip: Have a cage within a cage and fill the inner cage with
flowers, lights or candles…
*Tip: Cages are a big hit at weddings and table settings. Try to incorporate them in your settings with some flowers and lace for special occasions.
