Niagara-on-the-lake; The perfect weekend Getaway!

I spend the past weekend at the Niagara-on-the-lake and I had a great time. It was so relaxing and truly beautiful. Even though the weather was cooler, the scenery still made up for the cold breeze.
I stayed at the Prince of Wales hotel. The staff members were so kind and the service was impeccable. This boutique hotel has been open since 1864, and was loved by the high society people and royalty ins early 19th century. George V and Queen Mary stayed there in 1901. Today, this hotel stands to be the most exquisite in it’s area and creates and luxury get away for many visitors from all over the world.
The have a delicious traditional english afternoon tea and everyone should try it at least once if staying there. Reservations are highly recommended because they get really busy.
Most of the restaurants use organic products from the area and you can taste the freshness in the meals.
For spa, I recommend the 100 Fountain spa at their sister hotel at the Pillars and Post. They have a hot tub that is outside which is perfect for the cold weather.
While there, try to go for a wine tour at one of the famous wineries, and definitely visit the local boutique stores.
